Joseph Aaron is a young California plein-air impressionist painter dedicated full time to the depiction of outdoor scenes like those of the early California impressionists and of Ovanes Berberian with whom he has studied.

Although he also paints still life and floral subjects, his passion and focus lies primarily with landscapes. His favorite subjects are drawn from the areas of Santa Barbara and Ojai, north up the coast, to Morro Bay.

Signed lower left. Has a few frame nicks.
