Victorian hand painted wood panel of birds and roses

Circa 1900

26" long by 12 3/4" wide

This is a lovely Victorian English beveled mahogany panel that has been hand painted with groups or white cabbage roses surrounding a perch of swallows. The painting needs cleaning and there are some chips to the panel which is unframed. It is a delightful shabby chic cottage form of decorative accessorizing and was probably a front panel for an armoire at one time.
