Custom framed Victorian ladies at a costume ballItem# 12621 Circa 1900 & 1980 14" wide by 12" high This is a lovely decorative accessory custom made by California artist Kathleen Caid for Nightingale Design in the 1980's. The two bookplates features four Victorian women dressed for a costume party. They are trimmed in French silk lingerie ribbon. The mat is covered with a rich gold brocade vintage fabric accented by a green ribbon and silk pale pink lingerie roses. The frame is vintage gold wood from the same period. This is a beautiful piece, so pretty that I have kept it all these years which flies in the face of my motto of giving your very best merchandise to your clients first. Who can blame me for this tiny little slip. $275
