This is a portrait of a young woman in casual attire of the 1940's. She could be 'Rosie the Riveter' with her blond hair in pigtails.
She looks a lot like pictures of my Mom during the war, waiting for my Dad to return from Italy.
The painting is Impressionism on board in good condition. The frame is original and has a few nicks. The painting is signed but I can't read the artist's flourish
