Vintage impressionist sunset painting

This is a fabulous estate purchase from a California art collector’s personal stash. It is painted in the Barbizon style and features a quiet pond at sunset. The painting is oil on Masonite board. It is painted plein air and has a very stylized signature and a new frame.

This is a stunning piece of art in very good vintage condition. I will let you know more about the artist after some intensive research.
