This is a 1920's watercolor of a peony flower in peachy beiges with greens foliage. It is custom framed by specialist Venetia Thompson in the 1980's using all vintage materials and the original slightly shabby frame. The matt is Liberty of London fabric with a gold bullion filet. The top is embellished with a garland of French lingerie flowers.
This is a very pretty and romantic piece of decorative art.
