Set of three (Bakelite?) banana and black matching cuff bracelets

Circa 1940

Three banana colored cuff bracelets 4" in diameter and 1/2" wide with black notches and black interiors.

Sensational looking. They look like bakelite but don't smell like petroleum so I am calling them plastic.
