Bronze female figural on granite pedestal Item# 12250

Circa 1980

This is a lovely copy of the bronze French figural entitled Libellule by Fredrich Boisin. This statue was made in the 1980's after an original made in the 1890's.

The female figure stands 19" high and is on a black granite pedestal 3 1/2" high and 7" in diameter.

She has extended wings on her back that match those of the dragonflies hovering at her feet. She is wearing a green gown with her arms uplifted and her head turned to the side. Her face and figure are beautiful.

The statue is quite heavy and it is in excellent condition.
