Sculpture of a nude man in wood

This is a fabulous one of a kind piece. It is the sculpture in a single piece of wood. It is ART DECO in styling.

The man is nude and is in the act of chiseling himself with a hammer and chisel out of a block of wood. His features and body are beautiful. Most of his body has been revealed. The hammer is removable and fits into his clasped hand.

This is an estate purchase from an Ojai California artist. It is not signed and it is in excellent condition.
