Art Deco figural candlesticks by Muller

This is a beautiful pair of semi nude bronze clad figural candleholders made by Muller in 1923 after the Maxfield Parrish characters.

Each piece has MP stamped on the front and back point. The figures are covered from waist to foot by a gathered cloth with a decorative belt. The chest and feet are bare. The candle holder is held aloft by upraised arms.

The condition is very good.
