Poppy themed pyrographic box

This is a pyrographic wood box that was made from a kit by Flemish Art of New York around 1910.
It is decorated with hand painted poppies in reds and plum with green foliage. The condition is refreshed with wood soap and new hinges. Very Arts and Craft meets Art Nouveau in it's design which covers all but the back panel.
It is perfect for the storage of love letters or treasures.
