Victorian silver plate and mother of pearl 12 pc. fruit set in fitted walnut case

Circa 1900

Walnut box measures 11 1/2", 9" deep and 2" high.

This is a lovely Victorian fruit set, set with mother of pearl handles and etched electroplated knife blades. There are 12 long tined forks and 12 rounded ended knives with decorative hilts.

The box is beautiful with turquoise quilted interior fitted and trimmed in purple velvet. The box has a brass medallion on top and a brass lock. There is no key.

There are two tiny dings on the box that have no disturbed the finish. The knives are all signed RPM+S EP

This set is in what I consider pristine condition, a perfect wedding gift.
