Frey Wille enamel and gold French Horn clip earrings

New. This is a pair of enamel and gold clip earrings by famed Austrian enamel artist Fredrich Wille. The earrings are clip backed and feature Christmas French horns with red bows on a gold and olivene green enamel backround.

They are artist signed, come in an original box and have the story in a leaflet. The enamel is 20 levels of firings of ground glass and mineral additives melted together at 800 degrees.

The gold decoration is 24 ct yellow fold in the forn of gold powder applied by hand and fused in a special procedure. The bands and mountings are 18ct solid gold.

This is one of seven pieces I purchased from a dealer in Venice.

Some are an hommage to French artist Claude Monet and Austrian architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser as well as tributes to Venice. All pieces are registered and royalties have been paid to the artists' estates.
