Art Deco platinum, diamond and peridot ring

This is an exceptional Art Deco platinum, diamond and peridot ring that I am selling for a retiring fellow antiques dealer. She has been my client and my friend for more than thirty years.

This ring is accompanied with an certified appraisal done 7/27/08. At that time this ring was valued at $5,585.00 for replacement value. Now it would be a reasonable retail price. The ring is made of platinum as hallmarked and tested and it is a size 6¼.

According to the appraisal here are the facts:

One ring with platinum hallmark weighing 6.7 grams containing twelve diamonds and one colored center stone as follows.

One round mixed cut, natural peridot weighing 2.37 and measuring 8.00x4.28 mm. The bezel set peridot is a slightly yellowish green hue, medium tone, vivid saturation and no eye visible internal inclusions.

One round brilliant cut diamond weighing .33 carat and graded VS1 in clarity and G-H in color.

One old European cut diamond weighing approx. .36 carat graded SI1 in clarity and G-H-I in color.

These are the two side stones.

All of that said, this is a brilliant and elegant ring. It’s full of fire and looks large because the side diamonds are large giving it girth. It doesn’t hurt that the diamond color is very good.

The shipping in the US will be $10.95 fully insured by USPS Priority mail. No out of country sales on fine jewelry.

There will be no pick up as the ring will be shipped by it’s owner from another city.
