Victorian Eastlake style floor length pier mirror with painted pink roses

This is a fabulous hand painted black floor mirror in the Eastlake style.

It has ornate features such as carved pieces with finials on the top and bottom. It has a deeply beveled mirror. Surrounding the mirror are hand painted pink roses that are lush and show the various stages of growth from bud to over bloomed. They are delicious and plump.

The mirror is suspended from the frame with two large bolts and has heavy plywood on the back. The mirror has some loss of silver and has some clouding. Slight nicks to the black paint are visible and the creases have widened with age and the weight of the mirror.

In all it is in excellent vintage condition.
