Eastlake hall tree umbrella stand and bench
Item# 12276
81" high, 29" long side to side and 13" front to back
Circa 1910
This is a lovely cherry wood (?) hall tree in the Eastlake style. It has brass ornate hat hooks and umbrella rail. The drip pan is gone. The wood is carved beautifully in scrolling and geometric patterns carved deeply at the top. The back of the seat has a large floral carving and the cubby has a flower carved in relief on the door.
The seat is covered in an embroidered floral that has faded nicely. Every aspect is highly detailed with lovely hand carving and made with love.
The stand was an entry hall sentry in all of my homes as well as a display piece in my antiques store. There is a wood split at the fan under the cubby and a few nicks from the vacuum cleaner and several earthquakes. All can be seen in the photographs.
This piece will require a shipper to pick it up and deliver it to you at your cost. I am easily located in Bakersfield, California which is between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Therefore all of the major truckers will pass within eleven miles of my home located between Interstate 5 and Highway 99. Please pay for your hall tree in advance of pickup.
