This is a highly decorated and ornate pair of French majolica Barbatine vases. They have a green base with turquoise top and interior.
The handles are classical in shape and feature lions heads. The vases are decorated on the front from top to bottom with applied roses, vines and foliage. The tops are fluted and have a geometric pattern.
The vases are in very good condition with only small chips and nips to some petals. A monumental pair of decorated vases that are special in every way.
